Ok, my comment is not about the notifications, but I just wanted to say that I love the new "search results". Way to go.

Hi Mark,

Initially, it will be an email sent to your personal email account. That way you'll know about things as they happen while you are offline. When you're online, you'll be able to tap into your notifications through your personal home page.

With time though, it will integrate with a full chat system. I hate chat in Facebook, but I think it will work better on MakeFive, as the relationships users have are quite different. I'd rather talk to a friend on the phone than chat on Facebook with them; however, with MakeFive, chat may very well serve as a nice way to share an informal conversation with someone whose interests you share, but don't know yet.

The notification system will likely be buggy for a few days, so I ask you to have patience with us. We've spent a lot of time trying to ensure that people get the info they want, without overburdening their inbox. That being said, until it's in actual use, we just won't know how well it works.

Cheers!

Is it email only notifications? or is it possible to get it in the makefive "email" or in a notifications areas, maybe similar to how facebook has it in the lower corner? I'm excited to see how it works :)
