Creative Director
Eric’s has a bit of a leaning towards obsessive-compulsive disorder, and it’s largely exhibited on projects like MakeFive. He spends countless hours fretting over the best placement of buttons, the implied relationship between interface elements, and that sort of thing. If something bugs you about MakeFive, it’s probably his fault.

Eric talks about weird things like frameworks, PHP, MySQL, and a lot of other stuff that you probably don’t think about too much. The nice part is that his obsession with this sort of thing makes the site work as it does. He’s always looking for a way to make the site more enjoyable, and has a deep disdain for those who’ve created accounts just to spam other users.

Office Administrator
Helina’s the “office Mom”, quite literally. (She’s Eric K.’s mom.) Although she’s been with us from the very beginning (smashLAB since 2000) she only really drops by when we her basket here is full of accounting in need of her attention. The rest of the time she lives at the lake and sleeps-in. We think she has the best lifestyle of anyone here.

Shinya’s hardcore. By that, I mean that you shouldn’t go too close to him when all of those lines of code are flying across his screen. He says little, codes fervently, and only stops to refill on more caffeinated beverages. He’s responsible for massive amounts of what you see daily on the MakeFive site. He hasn’t taken a holiday yet, but promises us that he will soon.

Devin’s the newest member of the team and is helping us with all sorts of things around here.
